Teaching children to work with the breath is becoming increasingly important as many children feel overwhelmed dealing with so many challenges in today’s world.

In technology driven world, childhood has undergone some dramatic changes. Their natural creativity, independence, responsibility and a healthy lifestyle is impacted.

They are also exposed to drugs on an epidemic level, peer pressure, poisonous media programming and environmental crises. All of these have a huge impact on their development.

Our classes are designed to create a strong sense of being, to discover the power within.

Our goal is to teach them how to handle a stressful situation, to manage an anger, to be able to talk about own feelings and express own emotions in a healthy way.

Part of the journey with mindfulness and breathing classes is gaining the ability to be more authentic, thereby this approach raises self-awareness and self-esteem.

LET'S EXAMINE WHY DEEP BREATHING MATTERS

When you experience a stressful situation, your heart rate increases, muscles tightens, stomach stops digestion, and your breathing becomes more shallow.

Shallow breathing, less oxygen intake to your whole body.

Our goal is to teach kids to breathe from the diaphragm in stressful times.

  • When you breathe deeply, your brain receives signal to calm down and relax.
  • It helps release physical tension, stress and anxiety level.
  • Deep breathing, increase oxygenation
  • Better concentration, clarity and focus
  • Deep breathing detoxifies body as of increased exhalation during breathing exercises.

One of the most common learning difficulties diagnosed in children is Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). By teaching these children to breathe more deeply and thereby bringing their energy more fully into their bodies, they may become more focused, and hold their attention better. (Dr Judith Kravitz)
